Wild Kustoms & Cars is about creating new tracks. I try to look at real tracks that are missing from NR2003 and others that are very popular and haven't been updated since the early 2000's. When I make a new track or update an old one , it is done starting from a scratch made layout over a map from Google Earth. I do specialize in short tracks (especially dirt), but will occasionally venture into the realm of super speedways and road courses. I also have no intention of updating any of the original cup tracks. That has been done to death and I have no desire to so myself. I also don't build fantasy tracks. They don't seem to be downloaded or used anywhere near as much as a real track.
The tracks that I do build are setup based on the real track records. I try to get the AI to run as close to real laps times as I can, when I can. Some may be off by a little but once in a while some track records are impossible to find. ALL of my tracks are designed so that the AI works offline. I DO NOT build ONLINE ONLY tracks. I think it is a waste of time and completely disrespectful to the followers of our pages, and this sim.
I do receive a lot of requests for tracks and wholeheartedly understand the desire to have a "home track". However there is no way that all of the requests can be filled and accepting one isn't fair to those that have been told no. So with that said I have to say "please don't ask".
I do have at group on Facebook which can be accessed by clicking on the "WK&C FACEBOOK" link on the top right side of this page. NR2003, track building, tips, hints, help, files, and other helpful information is shared there. It's a fairly laid back group that is generally open to the work and efforts of others. We do try and help people that are trying to learn how to create things. Too many people look at this sim and their own efforts and think it is information that they have to keep to themselves or chastise others for at least trying to do something new. That is no way to keep a community growing. Trouble makers and spammers will be banned. However that has very rarely happened. My attitude is about keeping this sim alive. Disagreements and different views on things are a part of life and I don't ban people for having them or not kissing my ass as some forum owners have in the past. ALL ARE WELCOME!
